Whole system tender/redesign

Bolton DASCT (Drug and Alcohol Strategy and Commissioning Team), on behalf of Bolton Council, NHS Bolton and other partners, in line with EU Procurement Legislation, are undergoing a tender process for a new substance misuse treatment system to be in place on the 1st January 2013.

The treatment system needs a stronger focus on outcomes to enable clients and their families/carers to achieve positive and sustainable changes through the interventions being provided. In embedding a new treatment system we aim to:

• help and support people to be free of chemical dependance and positively change their lives;
• reach a wider group of individuals by offering a broad range of support;
• use one single assessment to help people build and plan their own recovery plans; 
• to keep what is working already!
